Debbie is a self-starter with an independent spirit and a love for writing and effective communication. She first honed her skills as an Editorial Writer at The Learning Lab before climbing the ranks as Brand Manager at The Spa Esprit Group, responsible for growing the equity of brands such as Strip, Browhaus, Skinny Pizza and House at Dempsey Road.
Since breaking out as an independent copywriter 7 years ago, Debbie has accumulated an extensive portfolio of writing experience, working on projects in the beauty & wellness, lifestyle, healthcare, IT and education industries. She has worked with some of the biggest names in advertising including M&C Saatchi, Arc Worldwide and Leo Burnett as well as digital agencies such as Media Catalyst, F5 Digital Consulting and Digital Alchemy. Her catchy, effective copy and strong work ethic have been well received by clients such as Kaplan, Kotex, Microsoft, Shiseido, Singapore Sports Council and UOB.
Writing is a natural expression for Debbie and in her free time, she also writes Wikipedia pages, electronic music reviews and a quarterly opinion column in JUICE magazine.
Debbie graduated with a BA in Cultural Studies (First-class Honours) from The University of Melbourne.
